Crane Operator
Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and safety-minded Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate has proven experience operating various types of cranes in construction, industrial, or heavy civil environments, with a strong commitment to worksite safety and precision lifting operations.
Responsibilities
-Operate mobile, rough terrian, or crawler cranes.
-Perform pre-shift inspections and complete daily equipment checklists.
-Read and interpret lift plans, rigging diagrams, and load charts.
-Communicate with riggers, signal persons, and site supervisors via radio and hand signals.
-Set up and dismantle crane equipment safely per manufacturer and site requirements.
-Identify and report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions immediately.
-Maintain accurate operator logs and inspection records.
-Work in compliance with OSHA, ASME B30, and site-specific safety protocols.
Requirements
-Minimum 1 years of verified crane operating experience.
-NCCCO certification required.
-Thorough knowledge of rigging practices, load charts, and lift planning.
-Familiarity with OSHA 1926 Subpart CC regulations.
-Ability to operate equipment in tight spaces, adverse weather, and varying terrain.
-Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred for mobile crane operators.
-Willingess to travel.

Mechanic
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Mechanic to join our operations team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all cranes in heavy industrial environments.
Responsibilities
-Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical crane systems.
-Perform scheduled preventive maintenance per manufacturer specifications.
-Troubleshoot complex crane failures and document findings.
-Conduct load tests and safety inspections per OSHA/ASME B30 standards.
-Coordinate with site supervisors to minimize equipment downtime.
-Maintain accurate maintenance logs and parts inventory.
Requirements
-Minimum of one year of crane mechanic experience.
-Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
-Familiarity with OSHA regulations and ASME B30 crane safety standards.
-Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
-NCCCO certification or equivalent a plus.
-Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.
-Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Heavy Haul CDL Driver (Class A)
Position Overview: Dozier Crane & Machinery is looking for skilled, reliable, and professional CDL Class A Drivers to join our premier transport team. As a leader in the crane and heavy equipment industry, we don’t just move freight—we move the massive machines that build our world. Responsibilities
-Heavy Haul Transport: Safely transport cranes, components, and heavy machinery to and from job sites and our headquarters.
-Load Securement: Expertly chain, strap, and secure oversized and specialized loads to ensure 100% safety during transit.
-Route Planning: Coordinate with our dispatch team to plan safe routes, adhering to all permit requirements for oversized loads.
-Equipment Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain the integrity of our trucks and trailers.
-Compliance: Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and paperwork in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
-Customer Service: Act as a professional representative of Dozier Crane when delivering to customer job sites.
Requirements
-License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
-Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of verifiable heavy haul or lowboy experience preferred.
-Record: Must have a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) and a solid safety history.
-Flexibility: Ability to travel overnight or regionally when the job requires it.
-Physical Ability: Must be able to handle the physical demands of securing heavy loads (climbing, chaining, etc.).
-Reliability: Punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently while following strict safety protocols.
